IP3 2025 – Intelligent Photo Management (Lot 16025)
This lot is generally relates to an event management system that helps users plan an event based on the type of event. It allows users to create an invitation list, select a budget, choose entertainment, select a venue, create online invitations, and choose a caterer, among other options. A set of patents in the portfolio discloses an event wizard server that communicates event planning data with a user device in conjunction with the user’s event planning activities. The system receives desired event type data, event size, and location data from the user device and displays various options for selection. It displays an event budget menu with per-person cost options based on the event type, size, and location, and receives the user’s selected budget data. The event server generates an event budget based on the user selection and displays an event options menu consisting of choices for venue, caterer, invitations, entertainment, and transportation, and sends it to the user device. The user device transmits event decision data based on this menu and generates an event invitee menu that includes contact data of the user, retrieved by the event wizard server from an external location. The system also updates the event budget data based on invitee acceptance data, generates an estimated attendance percentage, and displays the updated event budget accordingly. A few patents in the portfolio also disclose a technique to extract deletion candidate data from application data stored in memory on the user device by identifying and isolating photographs that are no longer needed based on certain criteria. This technology may be implemented in event management systems, online party planning systems, event scheduling systems, real-time smart event planning systems, photo management applications, intelligent photograph recognition systems, etc.
