This lot is generally related to a clinical decision support system which provides efficient data updating and allows access of inference engines. Disclosed is a clinical decision support system which infers input data having a natural language format based on an Ontology technique to recognize an input rule and store in a storage by associating the input rule from the data. Also disclosed are techniques to compare the input rule to the storage rule using a self-evolutionary rule-based algorithm and updating the data. The technology may be implemented in clinical decision-making systems, health information management systems, Ontology-based healthcare systems, etc.
