IP3 2024 – Industrial Automation (Lot 15685)
This invention is generally related to an industrial network system that correlates disparate pieces of data and predicts the outcome of industrial processes to enhance predictive maintenance strategies, improve operational efficiency, and reduce downtime. Disclosed is an industrial automation system consisting of a coordination component for synchronizing data from multiple data streams from various sources associated with the industrial automation system. Each of the multiple data streams has data that is distinct from the data of others of the multiple data streams, and synchronization of the data is done by maintaining a timing or sequence relationship between events represented by the data. Also disclosed is a process trend component that predicts the outcome of operations for the industrial automation system based on analysis of the synchronized data. The technology may be implemented in predictive maintenance systems, process optimization systems, downtime analysis systems, etc.
