Various techniques of wireless communication (DEAL 415)

This portfolio is generally related to various techniques of wireless communication such as wireless fronthaul, device to device communication and techniques to provide seamless communication in continuous coverage for a macrocell in the area. Disclosed is a wireless fronthaul unit for aggregating multiple first wireless channel signals and generates a first aggregated signal using digital frequency-domain mapping (FDM). The first wireless channel signals are positioned in the first positioned signal in overlapping first frequency bands. Each frequency band has a first bandwidth and a centre frequency. The system converts the first aggregated signal into a first modulated signal and transmits the modulated signal to a wireless fronthaul link to provide a cost-effective and power-efficient wireless fronthaul for high-capacity wireless access. Few patents in the portfolio disclose a device-to-device (D2D) communication by acquiring a wireless temporary identifier by each device and used the identifier for D2D communication. A patent in the portfolio discloses a technique to create a hotspot area without selecting a new roper site when the hotspot area changes. The system uses a microcell creating technique and a base station. Further disclosed are techniques for cooperative communication and a unified access network for providing integrated services such as voice, data, video and private line at a low cost. The technology may be implemented in wireless fronthaul systems, optical communication system, cellular networks , wireless peer-to-peer communication network, etc.
