This portfolio is generally related to various techniques such as smart scanner which automatically adjust brightness, digital image processing and printing, red eye removal from a photograph and browsing the Internet television using voice commands. Disclosed is a technique to provide a protocol which enables secured communication between the printer and the server. The system allows a user to download mobile printer data by establishing a communication connection with the server by sending a request for authentication, receive an authentication response, receive the requested print data portions and print the data portion. Few patents disclose browsing the Internet on a cable or satellite television by receiving a phone voice signal from a user and display Internet content on the television. The system has a voice recognizer for analyzing the voice signal and generates command signals to browse the Internet. The system has a frame grabber device for locally refreshing the content of the Internet displayed on the television until a subsequent request being made by a user. Another set of patents discloses techniques to remove red eye in photographs by automatically defining an outline of an area in an image for red eye correction and make correction only within the area. The system has an image analysis engine which automatically eliminates most images that are positively non pornographic and identify images which are suspected as pornographic or copyrighted material. A set of patents disclose a printer having a confidential print function which holds a print jobs until a password is entered and print jobs are executed in order of password entry. Further disclosed is a universal remote which transmits operational command codes to various electronic devices without requiring a separate keyboard, touch screen, or telephone style numeric keypad and techniques to enhance scan resolution. The technology may be implemented in image processing system, mobile apps, Internet TV, universal remote, etc.
