QoS-Enabled Adaptive Communication IC for Low-Latency Multi-Device Networks (DEAL 671)

An integrated circuit (IC) that incorporates Quality of Service (QoS) mechanisms, such as traffic prioritization and congestion control, to ensure reliable and timely delivery of critical data and to minimize latency, jitter, and packet loss for real-time and latency-sensitive communications. Also disclosed is that the IC dynamically adapts physical layer parameters based on negotiated capabilities, including frame spacing and modulation schemes. Further disclosed are techniques to optimize communication across multiple devices with different physical layer (PHY) configurations. The technology may be implemented in wireless communication chipsets, secure device-to-device communication systems, machine-to-machine (M2M) communication systems, IoT wireless networks, automotive communication systems, consumer electronics, etc.
