This invention is generally related to online research. Techniques are disclosed for online research for multiple objects using compare-contrast technique. The user selects multiple subjects based on context of the subject, associate attributes such as History, Music, Technique, and Culture, etc. and the system performs compare-contrast using available online information. The results are displayed on a user interface, which can be customized based on user selection. The technology may be implemented as a web services, online search, search engine, etc.
