Secure Network Management and Remote Validation Using Trusted Flow and Authentication Techniques (DEAL 383)
This lot is generally related to network management. Techniques are disclosed to securely transmit trusted and validated data packets from remote locations, based on predefined rules by interlocking of functions such as pseudo random generation, random bits generation, authentication, signature, etc. into a combined functionality in the network. Disclosed is a system to validate software execution at remote locations, consisting of a module to validate program execution through a message sent from the remote location to create a trusted flow generator (TFG) and a trusted tag checker so that the users of a computer network operate correctly. Also disclosed are techniques to ensure network security by using a module at the end user device to generate a security tag during data streaming and another module at the provider end to validate usage of network resources. Further, disclosed are techniques to control network data packets coupling through access points for security purposes and techniques for improved network authentication. The technology may be implemented in communication networks, computer networks, network switches, routers, modems, network software, authentication software, firewall, etc.
