This patent is generally related to a technique for developing and maintaining profiles for an individual and to monetizing the profile by making the profile available to users and compensating the individual represented within the profile. The system has a commerce engine, a privacy filter, a data signal processing device, and a profile of one individual. The data signal processing device interrogates a database having a set of personal data to generate a profile from the set of personal data using the retrieval and classification system and a privacy filter. The profile is generated by analyzing image content via machine vision technologies. The system makes the profile available to a third party for free and compensates the user through a point system, reward, or fee through the transaction mediation engine. The technology may be implemented in individual profile monetization systems, targeted content distribution systems, crowdfunding systems, influencer marketing systems, real-time profile monetization systems, etc.
