Machine Learning-Based VNF Resource Prediction (DEAL 628)

This lot is generally related to a virtual network function (VNF) resource prediction model that uses machine learning to accurately predict demand for VNF resources. The disclosed system predicts the demand for resources of an individual VNF using machine learning on the basis of detailed resource data of other VNFs forming a service function chain (SFC) and uses labeling data for demand prediction of resources of a target VNF. The technology may be implemented in network load-balancing systems, long-term forecasting systems, network optimization systems, etc.
