Image Sensor & Processing, Gesture Control and AI (DEAL 408)
This portfolio is generally related to various technologies such as image processing, gesture control and artificial learning. Disclosed is a gesture recognition system for observing a user gesture and executes a command, such as opening a website, saving files, opening a document, viewing a video, picture, searching a book, etc., based on the user gesture. A set of patents discloses image processing techniques to improve depth-map estimation to produce high-quality scenes and overall color scheme. The system segments an image into multiple segments to calculate the depth map to generate a highly efficient and accurate depth map to produce high-quality images. Also disclosed is a technique of imaging a scene by determining a camera response function based on captured images, synthetically creates profiles of multiple pixels of the images at different exposures and determines an exposure of the pixels in the images. The system maximizes chroma based on the determined camera response function, perceptual parameters color consistency and determines a hue associated with the pixels at the exposure. Another set of patents discloses a confusion-learning system for computer vision recognition by classifying image features and spawns sub-processing routines to determine difficult-to-interpret computer vision entities using artificial intelligence techniques. Few patents disclose image processing techniques by analyzing calibration parameters of images and associate pass/fail criteria based on the calibration parameters to identify significant deviation of parameters from stored parameters to quality control a camera production line for highly accurate vision applications. The technology may be implemented in dynamic gesture recognition systems, hand gesture control systems, real-time gesture recognition systems, image processing devices, multiple camera control systems, visual tracking systems, 3D imaging systems, stereo image segmentation systems, eye-monitoring systems, etc.
