Intelligent Text Analysis, Search, and Process Synchronization for Messaging Systems (DEAL 327)

This portfolio is generally related to various techniques related to tools for searching, analysing text data, process synchronization in a distributed system and techniques to enhance functionality of an electronic message. Techniques are disclosed access text data with text snippets, encode rules in a rule base having freely typed text, synonyms and submit the search request to a search handler for applying rules from the rule base. The system displays the text snippets and labels on a user interface and the search handler displays a revise option which can be selected by the user by entering new text to revise the label and the synonyms. Another set of patents disclose a technique to synchronize a second process to a first process in case of communication delays. The system collects history of delayed communications and states of the existing process to synchronize the processes. The technology may be implemented in messaging system, electronic messaging software, e-mail applications, data categorization system, text analysis system, etc..
