Advanced Wireless Communication Systems: Seamless Network Access and Dual SIM Management (Deal 258)

This portfolio is mainly related to wireless communication. Techniques are disclosed to enable portable device network connection without using an operator’s home location register by sending a call request to sever and the server connects the device on an appropriate network. The communication with the network is not limited to a particular protocol such as MAP protocol. Few techniques disclose application software to allow portable devices having a single SIM for local as well as roaming SIM by enabling the device to operate in different SIM configurations e.g., belonging to two different countries. The application software may be downloaded to the device and the SIM switching can be done manually or automatic based on the device location. Further, disclosed are techniques to recover data across different wireless technology platforms and networks, dynamic VoIP location systems. The technology may be implemented in mobile communication networks, WLANs, mobile phones, tablets, communication software, VoIP services, etc.
