Disclosed is a virtual storage system that allows a user to create a virtual electronic document and receive a request from the user to share the document with another user by receiving access information consisting of authentication information and expiration information from the other user. The system creates a link based on the information and transmits the link to the other user. Few patents in the portfolio disclose an educational guide module having an education wizard with instructional guide operations such as granting share access to third parties to the user-owned virtual storage system and adding or deleting electronic documents within the virtual storage system. Further disclosed that the educational guide module provides a reward system that enables a user to accumulate points after completing tasks such as questions. The points can be redeemed within the virtual storage system. The technology may be implemented in cloud storage systems, virtual storage authentication systems, secured file sharing systems, cloud-based file vaults, smart file systems, onboarding tools, etc.
