Disclosed is a telephone device having a display panel, a processor, and a memory to perform functions and determine information related to a current location of the telephone and a user of the telephone. The telephone is connected to a communication network having a function associated with a communication service and the processor connecting the telephone to a location server to obtain a current location. The system selects a function from the memory and refreshes the display panel. The technology may be implemented by telecom service providers, network service providers, location based services, etc.
