This invention is generally related to data mining and searching to generate relevant information from massive and complex datasets using is a technique to automatically generate metadata from an image or text to improve search by creating a feature vector for each document in a dataset and extracting the feature vector and the system augments metadata using the digital object to reduce the volume of the dataset by allowing a user to perform a search on the dataset. The technology may be implemented in media searching systems, data mining and management systems, image processing software, document processing software, search algorithms, social networks, cloud applications, etc.
